Commercial

Commercial plumbing for buildings that can't shut down

Backflow, copper, industrial stainless and the underground work behind hospitals, schools and post offices, handled without stopping business inside.

Chapter 01

Working a building that cannot close

A hospital wing or a post office doesn't get to shut its doors while we work. We isolate one section of the system at a time, keep the rest running, and schedule the loud or disruptive parts for after hours when tenants and patients are gone. Property managers get a heads-up on timing before we show up, not after.

Night work is normal for us on a commercial job. A building manager gives us a window, we hit it, and the crew is gone before the first shift walks in. Thirty-one years of doing that for offices, retail and health care has taught us how to move fast without leaving a mess behind.

Why a master plumber is on the job

A master plumber's license hanging in an office doesn't fix anything. On our commercial jobs, a master plumber is actually on site, reading the plans, making the call on a tricky tie-in, and standing behind the work. That's the difference property managers notice after the first callback that never comes.

Commercial work punishes guesswork. Get a riser bank or a backflow assembly wrong and it's not a homeowner's afternoon, it's a building's water pressure or a tenant's certificate of occupancy. We've been doing this since 1994, and the crew that shows up has usually seen the exact problem before.

Chapter 03

Hospitals, ballet halls and post offices

Our commercial book includes the Houston Ballet at the Wortham Center, the United States Post Office, the City of Houston, Kindred Hospital, and the Nexus Health System's children's hospitals, Nexus Children's, Healthbridge and Nexus Neurorecovery Center. Those aren't jobs you get by being fast. You get them by finishing right the first time and being reachable the second.

We also work regularly with construction and property firms including D4 Construction Services, Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, O'Donnell Snider Construction, Wulfe Management Services, Parkway Realty Services and Prologis. Restating that list is easy. Earning the repeat call from the same property manager is the part that actually matters.

Maintenance on the buildings nobody thinks about until something fails

A lot of our commercial work isn't a single project, it's the ongoing filtration and plumbing maintenance for large office buildings, the kind of contract where nobody notices us until a pump or a filter needs attention. We handle that the same way we handle a first-time install, methodically and on schedule.

Tenant improvement work fits the same pattern. A new tenant moves into a space, the plumbing needs to shift to fit their layout, and it has to happen on a construction timeline that doesn't wait. We've done enough of it in Houston office buildings that the schedule rarely surprises us anymore.
