Read the wall

Most of what goes wrong is visible before it fails.

This is a real Pride Plumbing install. Hover any mark to see what it is and what it is protecting. It is the same walk-through our plumbers do on a service call, in the same order.

Six things we are actually known for

Half our book is residential. The other half is buried under a parking lot.

Every photograph on this page is from a Pride Plumbing job. None of it is stock, and none of it is somebody else’s work.

Our shop door is a van. It shows up at your house.

What is behind the name

We do every job with pride.

That line has been on the side of the van since 1994. It is not a slogan we bought, and the credentials under it are the reason a hospital will let us on site.

The thirty-one year version

Where the work has been

A ballet hall, a post office and four hospitals.

Thirty-one years of commercial work leaves a list. These are buildings and firms Pride Plumbing has done work for. Our focus on commercial plumbing is unequaled, and this is why we say it.

“Keith and Josh did a great job installing a new hose bib and installing a new gas line for our grill. Keith explained everything clearly and was patient. They were both very personable and easy going but still professional. This is our second time using pride and we will continue to use them in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone”

No mystery, no runaround

What happens between your call and the repair.

We have been doing this the same way for thirty-one years, which is long enough to know that most of the anxiety in a plumbing job comes from not knowing what happens next.

Working Porter since

  1. First

You describe it, we tell you what it probably is

Call 281-361-7217 or send the address and a sentence. Most plumbing problems narrow down fast on the phone, and we would rather tell you it is a fifteen minute job than send a truck for a mystery.

  2. Then

We find it before we open anything

Isolate, pressure test, camera the line. On a slab leak that is the difference between a patch you can live with and a floor you have to replace. The free estimate comes after we know, not before.

  3. After

    You get the photograph

Everything we do underground or behind a wall gets photographed before it is covered. You keep those. Ten years from now they are the only record of what is down there.

Before you call

The questions we get most.

Yes. We run 24-hour emergency service. Water coming out of a wall at 2am is the reason that line exists, so call 281-361-7217 and you will get a person, not a message.

We are licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, MPL 15928, and we are insured. A master plumber is on the job, not just on the paperwork. We also keep a certified backflow prevention installer and equipment tester on staff, and we are Med-Gas certified for hospital and lab work.

Nothing. Estimates are free. Call or send us the address and a short description and we will tell you what we think before anyone picks up a wrench.

We do. Ask about it when you call and we will apply it to the job.

That is the whole point of doing it properly. We use under-slab leak detection and a pipe camera to locate the line first, so the opening is the size it needs to be and not a room.

Both, and the commercial side is the bigger half. We have done work for the Houston Ballet at the Wortham Center, the United States Post Office, the City of Houston, Kindred Hospital and the Nexus Health System hospitals, plus school districts, churches, restaurants and retail. We also maintain the plumbing and filtration in a number of large office buildings.

Underground fire lines, underground piping, sanitary sewer and water supply lines, stormwater detention systems, storage tank investigations, excavating and site development, and the rough-in that goes down before the slab is poured. Most of what we have built in thirty-one years is buried.

Porter, Kingwood, Atascocita, New Caney, Humble and the North Houston communities, and we take commercial work across the Houston area.

Estimates are free, there is a senior discount if you ask, and if it is running down a wall right now the 24-hour line is the same number as the office.
